Every farm has that one animal. The one who doesn’t just live here but runs the place (at least in their mind). For us at Little Village Farm, that animal is none other than Phoenix.
He’s not just an alpaca; he’s a vibe. A very fluffy, very particular, very majestic vibe.
🦙 Who Is Phoenix?
Phoenix is one of our most unique alpacas and absolutely convinced he’s the main character in every situation. With his regal stance, soulful eyes, and signature floofy fringe, he brings serious heartthrob energy to the paddock.
He’s calm, observant, and always the first to sense when something’s changed. New feed bucket? Spotted instantly. Slightly ajar gate? Already noted. Unusual cloud formation? He’s on it.
Some call him aloof ... we call it “selective socialising.” He prefers to stand back, silently judge the chaos (usually caused by Pickles or Lillee), and only get involved when absolutely necessary. A king knows when to act.
🌿 Phoenix’s Day-to-Day
Most of Phoenix’s days involve:
Finding the perfect sun patch for a nap
Politely declining nose boops from his more energetic herd mates
Quietly supervising the farm like the gentle overlord he is
Casually letting his fleece grow into an award-worthy coat (without even trying)
He’s basically the strong, silent type… if the strong, silent type was covered in cloud-like fluff and hated drama.

Phoenix has this calm, grounding presence that we all adore. He doesn’t need to be the loudest or the silliest ... he’s just him. Steady, peaceful, and a little mysterious.
And let’s not ignore the practical magic he brings to the farm. His fleece? Next level. It’s soft, strong, and perfect for creating some of our most popular handmade products; like our alpaca dryer balls and felted soaps.
